Membership Policy
Members of the New Zealand Society of Diversional Therapists Inc. must:-
- Share the same aims of the Society and abide by the Constitution and Rules.
- Abide by the NZSDTInc Code of Ethics.
- Abide by the NZSDT Inc Standards of Practice.
- Be a current Member of the NZSDT Inc, and have been for the two previous consecutive years, before applying for the Diversional Therapy Qualified Badge and Registration.
- Be responsible for renewing Membership Fees when due.
- Respond to the National Executive Committee and maintain communication.
Members of the New Zealand Society of Diversional Therapists Inc. will:-
- Provide support in the setting up and development of Support Groups.
- Provide access to available resources.
- Facilitate a sharing approach of information access to specialised knowledge and skills.
- Provide a coordinated approach to advice on issues affecting Support Groups and their Members worldwide.
- Continually liaise with Training Providers and the I.T.O. (CSSITO) to ascertain a choice is available at an affordable cost for Trainees to access our National Certificate in Diversional Therapy.
- Continual liaison with the H.B. (Health Boards) and Industry to promote our work and qualification.
