lt is approaching conference time again.

(SEE NEW details in the Forum on graduate photos & Saturday dinner start time)

I do hope those wishing to attended have their plans well in hand. The newsletter is out and contains the conference update and details on Remits and Proxy votes plus a timetable of conference which is also available on the website conference page. If you are entering the conference competitions please send in your FORM NOW, available in March newsletter or from the website.

Those hoping to complete their studies for graduation need to also get their registration applications in if they wish to be involved with graduation at conference. See the Registration page on the website for the required forms.

Also it’s been announced that Judy Cooper has agreed to take on the position of Registrar. The Board is currently working through lots renewals and applications for registration. Remember you must have been a financial member of the society for two years before apply for registration.

At the end of the month the election of the executive Committee will take place at conference. For those considering standing it's a challenging yet rewarding role. The current appointees have worked solidly this past year updating systems and introducing new ideas. If you are considering nomination, please be prepared to contribute and be prepared for work. Note we live on the World Wide Web, Internet broadband and computer literacy is a must; for both communication and access to the society records and data.

Finally membership invoices have been sent out. Please pay by direct and sooner the better, our new accounting system is geared for direct credits so please quote your invoice number or membership number when making payment. Also note to vote in the AGM you MUST be a current financial member of the society.

Conference Competition Photos to be in no later than Thursday 15th July. (so it can be framed)
