Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our members from Christchurch as they again pick up the pieces of their lives after the latest earthquake. Special thoughts must go to anyone who has lost someone they care about. We have heard of many Rest Homes and Hospitals that have had to close and residents that have been moved often to other cities. This is so hard for residents, families and also for the people who care for them, be it nurses, caregivers or diversional therapists.

It is hard for people living outside this area to fully understand the problems faced by our members living in Christchurch, many who have lost their homes, work and even loved ones, but we can send our thoughts and best wishes and hope this is of help.

Our webmaster has set up an area on the forum for any members who feel they would like to host a short break away from the devastation for our Christchurch members and their families, including any members of the Christchurch Regional Support group.  If you have any spare room please give it some thought. Time out might be just what people need.

No decision has yet been reach about the planned Conference in Christchurch.  We will let everyone know as soon as possible.

Christchurch was such a beautiful city, and I have no doubt it will be again, given the spirit of the people who live there.
