World Children's Day
World Children's Day is celebrated annually on November 14th. It aims to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare.
History
The day was established in 1954 and was originally known as Universal Children's Day. It was later adopted by the United Nations in 1989 to coincide with the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Objectives
Promote children's rights and welfare.
