Jesika Sachdeva

My name is Jesika Sachdeva, and I have had the privilege of serving on the NZSDRT Registration Board, supporting the National Registration programme and the ongoing development of professional standards within our Society.

Through my involvement with the Registration Board, I have gained valuable insight into the registration process and the importance of maintaining a fair, transparent, and supportive pathway for Diversional and Recreational Therapists seeking National Registration. I am passionate about upholding professional standards while ensuring applicants feel guided and encouraged throughout their registration journey.

If elected as National Registrar, I look forward to building on the strong foundations established by the Registration Board, continuing to support the growth of the National Registration programme, and working collaboratively with the Executive Board, assessors, and members to strengthen our profession across Aotearoa New Zealand.
